On good form or a mechanical or riding with an injury or just unfit, it all hurts. I spent most of my time on the bars but this was probably one of those half a dozen times I threw up but I’m genuinely looking forward to getting back on the TT rig this week to keep training. Sucker for punishment? Aren’t we all?
I may need to burn that @skcc1 jersey though. Ain’t nobody wearing that one again 😂

Today I raced the @auscyclingaus National TTT with @skcc1 and even though we had a pretty crappy race (some days just aren’t one’s day) I am grateful for the chance to race with a great team, for a great Club. I’ll wear my home @eastscycling kit next week back at Heffron but want to say a BIG thank you to my adoptee club StKilda for being so damn awesome.

NEW BIKE DAY
2 things I love about my new @trekbikesau Madone:
1) it is an amazing bike. No Ifs, not buts. It’s my 3rd Madone now.
2) this is a crash replacement frame. My beloved white Madone cracked (probably 5 years old and a cazillion races) and Trek simply replaced it. You can’t ask for more than that.

I am lucky enough to call @rupert.guinness a frien

I am lucky enough to call @rupert.guinness a friend, client and fellow @eastscycling teamie.
He rode 1000km Friday/ Saturday and stopped for less than 2 hours in total to sleep / eat etc.
He’s riding across America in June and more corporate support will be helpful. Please join me helping him.
His stories alone - about the bike, mental health, Tour de France etc, are all worth every $!

I got to ride 40km+ in the pitch black of night with @rupert.guinness last night, as he prepares for @raamraces. We rode until he got to the ‘24hrs on the bike’ time of 12:30am. This guy is a machine. I only rode 100mins or so.
I’ll be doing a lot more with Rupe in 2022. This is a nice way to kick things off.
